Beginner to intermediate levels taught starting age 6 and up. Beginners and small
children are recommended private lessons.
 
Improve horsemanship skills, learn safety, tacking up, grooming, horse and stable maintenance, and much more!
 
Intermediate to advanced riders, please ask about our leasing programs.

 What to Expect 
 
We teach everything from safety, grooming, and tacking up to advanced level riding.
 
It's your choice which technique of riding you want to advance into.  In the beginning, however, safety and foundational horsemanship skills will be the focus.
 
Learn to ride horses in a safe and fun environment. Relax and enjoy learning at your own pace. We individualize your lessons acording to your goals and experience level. 
 
Beginners start with private one-on-one lessons and can choose group lessons once they are ready.
 
Attire:  Wear comfortable pants or jeans, a one inch healed boot, preferably not hiking boots.  Bring a helmet if you have one. We can provide riding a helmet if needed, but cannot guaranty that we will have your exact size helmet.
 
Policies 
 
Cancellations:  We require at least 24 hour notice prior to your scheduled lesson otherwise you forfeit one lesson or pay a cancellation fee of 1/2 lesson price due at your next lesson.
 
Requirements:  Approved safety helmets are recommended to all riders.  You should purchase one, but if you do not have one, you may get one from the office.  Students aged 18 or under must wear approved riding helmets.

Beginner Riders:  Private lessons are recommended for your safety and maximum benefit. Small children should also begin with private lessons.   Before going out on a trail ride, beginners  should ideally take at least one lesson.  You may also take the 90 min. trail riding lesson which includes a mini-lesson at the beginning of the ride.
