Horseback Riding Lessons

We will tailor your lessons according to your goals and experience.

Beginners start with private, one-on-one instruction. Group lessons are more reasonably priced, but you wont get the individualized attention that you get in the private lesson.

What to wear: Comfortable pants or jeans that are not too tight to bend in so you can mount the horse properly. Boots with a small heal, preferably riding boots and not hiking type. Bring a helmet if you have one. We can provide one if you do not have one. We cannot guarantee we will have your exact size of helmet.

Beginner to intermediate levels taught starting age 6 and up. Beginners and small children are recommended private lessons. As they advance, they can move on to group lessons and trail rides.

Trail Rides: Before going out on a trail ride, beginners should ideally take at least one lesson. The 90 minute trail ride does include a mini-lesson. For more info and prices for trail rides, click here.

Helmets: Approved safety helmets are recommended to all riders. You should purchase one that fits you, but if you do not have one, you may get one from your instructor. It is recommended that you purchase your own, if you plan to continue riding. You can purchase a helmet by ordering one at the office or we will recommend a few stores where you can find them.

Cancellations: We require at 24 hour notice prior to your scheduled lesson otherwise you forfeit one lesson or pay a cancellation fee of 1/2 lesson price due at your next lesson.
